Brussels, 28/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - Last Friday, the French Presidency adopted the following declaration on behalf of the EU: "The EU strongly condemns the bloody attacks on the Yugoslav representative in Pristina and on three Serb policemen. These criminal acts are a reminder to the international community that extremist forces, bent upon preventing coexistence between communities, are determined to continue their activities against the Kosovo Serbs in spite of Resolution 1244, the results of the municipal elections on 28 October in Kosovo and the democratic change that has occurred in the FRY since the elections on 24 September. We call on all the Kosovar leaders to condemn such acts unreservedly".
