28/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - During the informal dinner of the Ecofin Council on Monday, the Finance Ministers were informed of the events of the Eurogroup session on the eve, finalised their contribution to the European Council in Nice concerning qualified majority voting (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.10) and discussed macro-economic assistance to the Balkans, the financial aspect of the Galileo programme and issues relating to the financing of the closure of the Chernobyl reactor.
