ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) packaging

CEBAL, subsidiary of French PECHINEY specialised in flexible tubing for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, is to acquire the Brazilian company METALPACK (annual turnover EUR 27.6 million), which manufactures laminated tubing. In 1999, laminated tubing accounted for 30% of the FF 3.5 billion CEBAL turnover.
