Global overview of results for last week's session - Youth mobility, "benchmarking" on quality of teaching, "year of languages", etc

Brussels, 14/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The main results of last week's Education/Youth Council was represented by the direct talks between the Ministers and Youth Organisations. The Council Presidents Mr Jack Lang and Mr Buffet, as well as the European Commission Mrs Reding explained with a certain emphasis that this development represents a turning point and expressed their desire to give the dialogue with youth a permanent nature and consult them regularly (see EUROPE of 10 November, p.7...
