The business bank NOMURA is a candidate for the take-over of the MERIDIEN hotels put up for sale last month by the British COMPASS and which the French ACCOR had abandoned due to the excessive price. The price of the hotel chain, which includes 120 establishments could reach GBP 2 to 2.5 billion.
