- Belgium: According to the "Livre annuel de l'impôt des sociétés 2000" recently published, Belgium is not very attractive in terms of investment, due to corporate taxes that are "too high and unclear". As a result, many investors are rather turning towards countries such as the Netherlands and Ireland, adds the study.
