ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) oil

The Spanish group REPSOL-YPF has concluded an agreement to acquire 45% of the capital in the Chilean group LIPIGAS, market leader in LPG with a market share of 40% and a turnover of USD 219 million in 1999. Furthermore, REPSOL-YPF will acquire the agricultural section of the American group EXXON MOBIL.
