- United Kingdom: AIRLINE GROUP a consortium gathering together the eight main British airlines and supported by BT - BRITISH TELECOM announced its candidacy for the privatisation of NATS - NATIONAL AIR TRAFFIC SERVICES (NATS, the British air traffic control authority).
