After an in-depth investigation, Commission authorises acquisition of Dyno (Norway) by Industri Kapital (Netherlands), subject to conditions

Brussels, 13/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission approved, after four months of investigations, the acquisition, for NOK 5.27 billion (or NOK 206 per share), by the Norwegian producer of chemical products and explosives Dyno by the Dutch venture capital group Industri Kapital. This operation, which gives birth to the world's largest resin producer with a strong presence in Europe and North America, posed, in its initial form, problems for competition in the Formaldehyde sector...
