Brussels, 13/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - In Lisbon on Thursday, the European Commissioner for Employment, Anna Diamantopoulou, signed two training and education programmes funded by the European Social Fund (for the period 2000-2006). With financial support of over 2,312 million euro, the two programmes together account for 48% of ESF funding in Portugal for the new Structural Funds programming period.
