Brussels, 13/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided to call upon the EU Court of Justice against Germany and Greece for failure to respect Community legislation on excise duties. In the first case, the Commission feels that Germany unduly exonerates excise duties on certain mineral oils used for heating, notably in the cement industry.
