Ms Stenzel welcomes appointment of Three Wise persons

Brussels, 12/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Austrian Conservative Ursula Stenzel, Leader of the ÖVP delegation at the European Parliament, welcomed the appointment of the three "eminent persons" by the President of the European Court of Human Rights. The choice of these persons allows us to hope that an objective report will be drawn up, says Ms Stenzel, who hopes the report will be presented before the European Council of Biarritz (13-14 October) so that the sanctions may be lifted as soon as...
