British PRUDENTIAL is to acquire the American company IFC HOLDINGS (assets of $43 million) from AMSOUTH BANK, via its subsidiary JACKSON NATIONAL LIFE. The operation will create with NPH - NATIONAL PLANNING HOLDINGS, a JACKSON subsidiary, the fifth largest network of independent brokers in the United States with annual sales over $6 billion.
