Commission proposes to enforce "financial corrections" in cases of mismanagement of aid from Structural funds

Brussels, 12/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission presented, on Wednesday, two draft regulations aiming to reinforce the methods of financial management and checks on the management by the Member States of resources from the Structural funds (or around 30% of the Community budget), as wanted by the Member States during the adoption of the Agenda 2000 reform.
