The Japanese manufacturer NISSAN has approved a bid from the American equipment manufacturer JOHNSON CONTROLS for IKEDA BUSSAN, its subsidiary specialised in the manufacture of car seats. JOHNSON CONTROLS proposed 120 yen a share, valuing IKEDA at 10.7 bn yen.
