Prime Minister Zhu invites European industrialists to use WTO agreements for investment in China's telecommunications - reticence about mechanisms for follow-up of China's WTO commitments

Brussels, 12/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji invited European enterprises to invest in China on the basis of agreements concluded for China's accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Speaking before the European enterprise association, UNICE, on Tuesday, Zhu Rongji drew a flattering picture of the Chinese economy.
