ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

The Italian electricity producer ENEL and FRANCE TELECOM, which respectively hold 51% and 24.5% of WIND, are negotiating the acquisition of the 24.5% share belonging to their partner DEUTSCHE TELEKOM in their joint venture. The transaction could cost up to EUR 2.8 billion according to the Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore.
