The Commission clears sale of Viag's glass packaging and tubing unit

Brussels, 29/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has cleared the joint acquisition by Investcorp Financial and Investment Services and Chase Capital Investments of Gerresheimer Glas Aktiengesellschaft, currently owned by Viag. The subsidiary manufactures glass and plastic packaging and systems for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry with an annual turnover of around Euro 752 million.
