BELGACOM SKYNET, Internet access subsidiary of the Belgian telecommunications operator BELGACOM (turnover of BEF 185.5 billion in 1999) and the French group INFOSOURCES, also internet service providers (ISP) announced the merger of their activities. The new combined company will be 75% controlled by BELGACOM, the remaining 25% being held by the present INFOSOURCES shareholders.
