The list of Italian regions eligible under objective 2 should be adopted on 12 july

An "agreement in principle" has been reached on the list of Italian zones eligible under Objective 2 of regional policy, which should allow (once all the final details have been settled) the list to be adopted on 12 July, indicated the European Commission. The most important issue - including the region of Turin in the list - has apparently been settled with the European and Member States agreeing, not to amend the "deindustrialisation" criterium, but rather to soften the manner in which it...
