The American group SEALED AIR (protective packaging) acquired the British group DOLPHIN PACKAGING (turnover of GBP 51 million in 1999 with a workforce of 900 people), specialised in plastic packaging for foodstuffs, for GBP 79 million, or 330 pence per share.
