Report on security and defence policy proposes "concrete targets" for civilian aspects of crisis management

Brussels, 16/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The report that the Portuguese Presidency will present on Monday next at the Feira summit on strengthening the European Security and Defence Policy proposes, above all, as we pointed out earlier, arrangements for consultations with NATO on military issues and for consultations with the NATO European but non-EU member countries and EU membership applicant countries on the subject of their contribution to operations for the military management of crises...
