Sweden's SAAB has announced the sale of its armaments subsidiary BOFORS WEAPON SYSTEMS (a maker of "intelligent weapons", including naval artillery, anti-air defence systems, and turrets for armoured vehicles) to the American company UNITED DEFENSE.
