Alcoa is authorised to take over Cordant Technologies

Brussels, 19/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given its authorisation to the leading world company for aluminium, American Alcoa, to acquire another US company, Cordant Technologies, which makes products for the aerospace industry. The European competition services felt this vertical concentration would have "a limited impact in the European Union".
