The Spanish electricity group ENDESA has concluded an agreement with the American firm LEAP WIRELESS INTERNATIONAL for the takeover of 100% of Chile's mobile phone company SMARTCOM PCS. It currently has 100,000 customers and its network covers 80% of Chile's population.
