THE DAY IN POLITICS / (eu) eu/schuman declaration

19/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - At another colloquium marking the 50th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, held in Scy-Chazelles, two former MEPs -Hans-August Lücker and Jean Setlinger- and current Member Doris Pack, discussed the subject "From the Schuman Declaration to the European Constitution". In addition, several events took place, attended by some 600 pupils- in the park of the Robert Schuman House, where Mr Schuman meditated and decided, in 1950, on the fate of the document by Jean Monnet which was to become the Schuman Declaration.
