ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) tourism

Britain's P&O -PENINSULAR AND ORIENTAL STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY- has announced the acquisition of the Greek firm FESTIVAL CRUISES, which will be merged with the future independent company P&O plans to create in this area. The amount of the acquisition was not made public, but could be up to USD 400 million if the company's performance is "particularly good".
