First Ministerial debate on the new support programme for the audiovisual industry, "Media Plus", at Tuesday's Council

Brussels, 12/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Culture Ministers of the European Union will have their first policy debate in Brussels on Tuesday on the new aid programme for the audiovisual industry for the period 2001-2005, "Media Plus". The generally most controversial question in the cultural field - its funding and how the budget should be spread - will however be left aside for now.
