The French consultancy specialist in new information technologies VALTECH has taken over its Danish rival AHEAD (8.5 million euro turnover in 1999), active in the same sector. The transaction will take place exclusively by an exchange of shares: in all, 8.8 million VALTECH shares representing 19% of the current capital will be created in exchange for all AHEAD shares, valuing the Danish group at 140 million euro.
