The JEE (Young European Entrepreneurs), European association active in encouraging the spirit of enterprise, is for the first time organising, in all the fifteen countries members of the EU, the presentation of the European Award for the Spirit of Enterprise, an action organised with the backing of the European Commission and under the patronage of the European Parliament. These Awards enable the best enterprise projects of the year to benefit from wide fame and their promoters to be invited before the European jury and the final European Award-presentation ceremony in Paris on 20 June 2000 in which the 60 winners of the 15 participating countries will take part. The best European companies of the year elected in Belgium will be announced on 15 and 17 May, in the presence of Belgian minister Eric Andre, for the Region Bruxelles Capitale, and the Minister-President of the Region Wallonne, for the Walloon Region.
