Brussels, 18/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Council and European Parliament reached an agreement on the European directive on late payments in commercial transactions. According to this agreement (which must be confirmed by an exchange of letters): a) the reference payment time, imposed above all when there is no written contract, will be 30 civil days following date of receipt of the invoice.
