Eurocorps takes on KFOR command in Pristina for six months

Pristina, 18/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 18 April, Eurocorps took over the command of KFOR, the multinational peace force in Kosovo, for six months. Command was hitherto held by LANDCENT (NATO land forces Central Europe). Eurocorps Commander, Spanish General Juan Ortuno, thus took over from German General Klaus Reinhard during a ceremony in Pristina at which the SACEUR (Supreme Allied Command in Europe), US General Wesley Clark, took part.
