EUR 210 million for new cable telecommunications network in Madrid - Global loan for SMEs

Luxembourg, 18/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank is granting a loan of EUR 210 million to Madritel Comunicaciones for the construction of the new cable telecommunications network in the Madrid region. Madritel, who obtained the concession for the telecommunication services in the Madrid area, should provide the region with a multimedia telecommunications service "including wide-band Internet access, data transmission services, digital television, as well as telephones,"...
