Brussels, 18/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The twenty-sixth General Assembly of EU non-governmental development and humanitarian aid organisations, gather Friday and Saturday in Brussels (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.1), very favourably welcomed the new guidelines of the EU cooperation and development policy, which the European Commissioner Poul Nielson presented to them and which will be submitted - after fine tuning - for the approval of the Development Council next 16 May.
