Luxembourg, 12/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - In two distinct appeals, the Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale and the Land Nordrhein-Westfalen have asked the European Court of First Instance to annul the European commission decision of 8 July 1999 calling on the German authorities to recover the 808 million euro that WestLB, Germany's main State-owned bank, is said to have received in State aid (see EUROPE of 9 July 1999).
