DANONE (France) has paid USD 1.1 billion for the American firm MCKESSON WATER PRODUCTS COMPANY (annual turnover of around USD 380 million), thus becoming the number two mineral water company in the United States, behind NESTLE, with annual sales of 1.5 billion litres.
