40 million euro participation in venture-capital fund Mediobanca

Brussels, 12/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has taken a 40 million euro stake in a venture-capital fund Medio Banca Venture Capital Funds, intended to finance companies with strong growth potentials, in Italy and in the rest of Europe. Like other venture-capital funds financed by the EIB, MB Venture Capital Funds supports innovative companies in their early-stages so as to help them consolidate their capital.
