Ten EU Member States call for flexibility in requirements of regulation on deployment of infrastructure for alternative fuels

On Wednesday 26 November, Estonia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania and Slovakia signed a declaration calling for a relaxation of the requirements of the ‘AFIR’ regulation on the deployment of alternative fuel infrastructure for heavy-duty vehicles. This statement will be communicated to the other Member States at the ‘Transport’ Council on Thursday 4 December.
