27/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – In a joint statement issued on Thursday 27 November, the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom strongly condemned the massive increase in violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians. “The number of attacks has reached new heights. OCHA reported 264 in October. This is the highest number of settler attacks in one month since the census began in 2006”, they denounced. They added: “These attacks must stop. They sow terror among civilians and undermine current efforts to establish peace and ensure the lasting security of the State of Israel”. The ministers called on the Israeli government to honour its obligations under international law, to protect the Palestinian population in the occupied territories, to hold the perpetrators of the violence to account and to tackle the root causes of these acts.
