MEPs condemn proposed 20-30% cut in CAP budget for 2028-2034

During the debate in Strasbourg on Tuesday 7 October on the package for simplifying the rules of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), several MEPs criticised the European Commission’s proposal to cut CAP funding by 20% during the EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2028-2034.
