On Monday 6 October, the members of the European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment (ENVI) adopted, by 57 votes to 23 with 4 abstentions, a draft resolution affirming that the European Union must remain one of the leaders in international climate negotiations, in the run-up to COP30 in Belém (Brazil) from 10 to 21 November.
