07/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 7 October, MEPs approved at second reading the EU Council’s position on the amendment of several regulations aimed at adapting certain reporting obligations in the field of financial services and investment support. At second reading, MEPs approved the compromise negotiated with the EU Member States (see EUROPE 13548/17). The European Parliament has therefore instructed its President, Roberta Metsola, to sign the final legislative act with the EU Council Presidency, with a view to publication in the Official Journal of the European Union in the near future.
