At a time of global change, Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Luc Frieden urged Europeans on Tuesday 7 October to “recommit to (...) European values”, citing freedom, democracy, the rule of law and a rules-based international order.
“Europe (...) must remain the voice of these values. (...) It is up to us now to dream of a future for our children, and that does not happen by abandoning our values, but by renewing them”, declared Mr Frieden during a speech in the European Parliament...
