European Commission launches feedback period on calculation of global warming potential of new buildings

07/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On 3 October, the European Commission opened a 4-week feedback period on draft rules for calculating the global warming potential (GWP) of new buildings over their whole life-cycle (https://aeur.eu/f/it8). This calculation is required by the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (see EUROPE B13390A20).
