European Commission aims to be proactive and anticipate crises with its 2025 strategic foresight report, “Resilience 2.0”

On Tuesday 9 September in Strasbourg, the European Commission presented its 2025 strategic foresight report: “Resilience 2.0: Empowering the EU to thrive amid turbulence and uncertainty”.

This first foresight report of the Commission’s 2024–2029 mandate, an exercise which aims to anticipate future challenges in order to better guide EU policies in the long term, is presented as a transitional document.
