European Parliament adopts provisional agreement on revision of ‘food and textile waste’ framework directive at its plenary session

The European Parliament adopted the provisional agreement on the revision of the framework directive on ‘food and textile waste’ at its plenary session in Strasbourg on Tuesday 9 September.

Parliament and the EU Council reached a provisional agreement on 19 February (see EUROPE B13583A4). This agreement was then validated by the Council of the EU on 25 June.
