Mandate of European Parliament’s special committee on ‘European Democracy Shield’ extended by six months

09/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – At its plenary session on Tuesday 9 September, the European Parliament extended the mandate of the Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield (EUDS) by six months. Made up of 33 members and chaired by Nathalie Loiseau (Renew Europe, French), this committee was given a 12-month mandate, from 3 February 2025, to combat foreign interference (see EUROPE B13571A25).
