European Commission takes five Member States to CJEU for failing to fulfil their obligations under Digital Services Act

On Wednesday 7 May, the European Commission announced that it had decided to bring an action before the Court of Justice of the EU against the last five Member States – the Czech Republic, Spain, Cyprus, Poland and Portugal – which have still not designated or empowered a national coordinator or established a sanctions regime applicable to infringements under the Digital Services Act (DSA).
