EU signs its digital trade agreement with Singapore

07/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – Visiting Singapore on Wednesday 7 May, the European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, Maroš Šefčovič, and Singapore’s Minister for Trade Relations, Grace Fu Hai Yien, signed the first digital trade agreement. The two parties concluded negotiations in July 2024 (see EUROPE B13461A7). The agreement reaffirms the commitment of the EU and Singapore “to foster a secure and inclusive digital economy”, according to Mr Šefčovič and Ms Fu....
