Tirana moves towards EU membership and is due to open its second acquis cluster on 14 April this year

11/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – An intergovernmental conference with Albania will take place on Monday 14 April, after the Foreign Affairs Council (see other news). According to several senior European officials, this conference will provide Tirana with the opportunity to officially open the second cluster of acquis chapters, relating to the internal market. Albania is currently considered to be the most advanced country in the Western Balkans on the road to European Union membership....
